About Me

Hello, my name is Caitlin and I am a writer from and based in Belfast. I like to make work that puts untold and unheard Northern Irish stories at the centre of them. As a plus-size, queer, disabled artist, I am passionate about bringing marginalised stories to the fore and telling them with honesty, compassion and humour.

My work has been seen at theatres such as The Hope Mill Theatre, The Lowry, Theatre by the Lake and Theatre 503 and produced by companies such as Pentabus and Graeae. I won the inaugural Pentabus Young Writers Alumni Award and was part of the New Playwrights programme with the Lyric Theatre, Belfast in 2021. Recently I was shortlisted for the BBC Comedy Collective 2023 and currently have a number of projects across stage, radio and screen in development with several independent production companies across the UK and Ireland.
